[Colossians 1:13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
As discussed in Part 4, in order to put on the new man we must first, understand the three-fold nature of FatherGod’s Children, which are: Holy Spirit, Soul and Body, in light of FatherGod’s desired standard for each.
[1 Thessalonians 5:23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Second, we have to understand our human capabilities and then use them to make conscious choices to perform or be a doer of FatherGod’s Word.
[James 1:22,25] 22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Thus, our every ability can be broadly classified into (1) Thinking Thoughts, and/or (2) Performing Actions. Also, Actions consist of speaking words and performing deeds (i.e., thought, word and deed). The following is a chart to help keep this in mind.
TOTAL SUM OF HUMAN CAPABILITY
• Thinking & Action.
• All Action is the Fruit of Thought.
• Thoughts are mental impulses that communicate with every cell of our body.
• Actions are Speaking Words and Performing Deeds.
• Words are Spoken Thoughts.
• Deeds are Thoughts In Action (i.e. Thought, Word & Deed).
• As We Think In Our Heart So Are We.
• Change Your Thinking and Change Your Life.
Third, by studying FatherGod’s Word we determine the type of thoughts, words and deeds which HE desires that we think, speak and do.
[2 Timothy 2:15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The following three charts provide more information of FatherGod’s standards for our thoughts, words and deeds.
FATHERGOD’S STANDARD FOR THINKING THOUGHTS
(Philippians 4:8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(2Corinthians 10: 3-7) 3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
FATHERGOD’S STANDARD FOR WORDS/SPOKEN THOUGHTS
[Proverbs 18:20-22 ] 20A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
[Ephesians 4:15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[John 17:17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[Joshua 1:8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
[Colossians 3:16-18] 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
[Colossians 4:5] ….Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
[Ephesians 4:29-30] 29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
[James 1:26] If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
[Numbers 14:28] Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.
[Isaiah 57:19] I create the fruit of the lips…
[Job 22:28] Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.
[Proverbs 30:32] ….If thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
[Proverbs 16:24] Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
[James 3: 2-13] 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man , and able also to bridle the whole body. 3Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. 4Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm , whithersoever the governor listeth. 5Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members , that it defileth the whole body , and setteth on fire the course of nature ; and it is set on fire of hell. 7For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed , and hath been tamed of mankind: 8But the tongue can no man tame ; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12Can the fig tree , my brethren, bear olive berries ? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.13Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
FATHERGOD’S STANDARD FOR PERFORMING DEEDS/THOUGHTS IN ACTION
[Romans, Ephesians] Be Kind, Tender, Forgiving, Love, Bless, Do Good and Pray for All.
[James 1:22,25] 22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
[James 1:26] If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
[2Corinthians 5:7] For we walk by faith, not by sight.
[Habakkuk 2:4] The just shall live by his faith.
[Matthew 9:29] According to your faith be it unto you.
[Joshua 1:8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
[1John 4:7-16] 7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
In summary, we learned parts 1 through 5 that:
(1) Each kingdom citizen has full access to enjoy every good thing in the kingdom on a daily basis,
(2) FatherGod desires that we be conformed to the image of Christ/Messiah and
(3) by knowing that we only have to control three types of activities (thinking, speaking and doing)
(4) along with knowing FatherGod's standards for our resultant thoughts, words and deeds helps us to be a better kingdom citizen and doer of FatherLove’s Holy Word and thus
(5) become more and more like our Lord Christ/Messiah.
You are greatly loved by Our Loving Heavenly FatherGod (FatherLove) and our savior.lord.brother Christ/Messiah. FatherLove and Christ/Messiah live within each of you and you are FatherLove's very best masterpiece! (Colossians 1:27, Ephesians 2:10).
